Anna Ryabenkaya
Soprano
Anna Ryabenkaya was born in Kaliningrad, Russia. In 2012 she won her first international music festival competition „Music of old Riga“ in Riga, Latvia. In 2014 she participated in a master class with Birgid Steinberger in Vienna what inspired her to study classical singing in Austria. 2016-2020 she studied bachelor's degree in concert voice and bachelor's degree in vocal pedagogy at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz in the class of Prof. Katerina Beranova. In 2020-2021 Anna studied at the Mozarteum University the master study Lied and Oratorio in the Lied class of Prof. Pauliina Tukiainen, singing class of Prof. Christoph Strehl and oratorio class of Prof. KS Andreas Schmidt in Salzburg. Since 2021 she continues her master studies at the University of Performing Arts and Music in Vienna in the Lied class of Prof. Florian Boesch and in the voice class of Prof. KS Daniela Fally.
She has participated in master classes by KS Thomas Hampson, Mitsuko Shirai, Kurt Widmer, Ulrike Hofbauer, Fenna Kügel-Seifried, Ulrike Sonntag, and Dorothea Wirtz. In 2018-2021, she was a recipient of the Rotary Club Wels Scholarship. In the summers of 2019 and 2021 she had recitals with the largest organ in Russia at the main cathedral in Kaliningrad (Königsberg Cathedral). In 2019 and 2023 Anna is a part of the OMF Chamber Music Study Group song duo at the Seiji Ozawa Festival in Japan. In March 2023 she was awarded the „DonnAttiva“ prize at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Italy.
